Jozefien is the creative mind behind Ellila Designs. What began as a quiet love for silk painting, photography, and sewing slowly grew into a deeper passion for design. Over time, she found her way to surface pattern design — a place where her love for nature, color, and soft detail could come together. In 2018, Ellila Designs was officially born. Her patterns reflect who she is: thoughtful, gentle, and drawn to beauty in the small things.

Surface pattern design is the art of creating repeatable designs—like illustrations, shapes, or motifs—that can be applied to all kinds of products and surfaces. Think fabrics, wallpaper, stationery, gift wrap, home decor... anything that looks more beautiful with a pattern on it.
